The buzz about our honey

Picture
People from far and away order Glory Bee Honey. We do business in and around Langenburg, Esterhazy, Regina, into Manitoba – heck, we’ve had someone sneak it back with them to London (note for anyone of authority: we do not encourage or condone this in capacity, but when you’re in love you do crazy things).

Glory Bee produces Canada Number One White Honey. What does that mean? It means that its a low moisture honey. Canada is well known for low moisture honey, high quality standards and regulations, and its ability to keep for a long period of time. Number one honey has a moisture content of only 17.8 per cent.

We sell honey in two ways:
  1. Bring in your pail, tub, or container and we’ll fill it up in July and August with fresh beautiful honey. Bring as many as you want because honey freezes wonderfully. You just pop it in the freezer and when you need it pull it out and thaw. It will taste as great as the day it was made, and it adds a creamy texture to the honey.
  2. Head to the Langenburg or Esterhazy grocery store or call or drop by the Glennie residence and purchase creamed honey. Creamed honey is sold year around in these locations. Creamed simply means that seed honey is mixed into the fresh honey to prevent granulation or crystallization of the product.
